A brave 10-year-old abuse victim has busted her perpetrator, a Roman Catholic Priest, with a recording from her cell-phone.
According to the Italian publication Le Iene, Michele Mottola was arrested when audio recorded by his then-10-year-victim was released to authorities. The little child was wise enough to know that few would believe her story unless she had evidence, so she recorded her horrific molestation on audio.
The Daily Mail provided an English translation of the audio transcript from that provided by Le Iene, and it’s unbelievably horrible.
Priest: ‘Do you want a kiss?’
The girl protests but he continues: ‘There is no one here. Are you afraid? Kiss me, hug me.’
Heavy breathing can be heard as the girl objects to his apparent advances and pleads: ‘Enough, enough.’
The priest: ‘Take this to dry yourself.’
Reportedly, the priest ‘groomed’ his victim and got close to her family by giving them gifts like clothing and technological devices.
The young girl, afraid to tell her mother, told two church members. They refused to do anything about it. She recorded the priest a second time, pleading he leave her alone and telling him she had already told on him.
Priest: ‘You didn’t have to do it, because now they will understand other things. Things will get very bad. I will come to your home to talk to your parents.’
He continued: The mud ends up also on your family and on you.’
The Bible warns that it’s better to hurt yourself than to hurt a child.
It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones (Luke 17:2).
