In what seems to have become an ever-growing trend, another American doctor has been caught conducting secretive surgeries to tie fallopian tubes and perform hysterectomies on women without their consent or knowledge.
Pulpit & Pen has previously reported on a gynecologist inserting abortifacient drugs into females without their knowledge and a school nurse injecting female students with birth control without proper consent. Pregnancy and child-bearing increasingly seem to be treated like preventable diseases by the medical community.
Dr. Javaid Perwaiz of Virginia (age 69) faces several charges related to insurance fraud after the FBI received a tip from a hospital employee who claimed Perwaiz was “performing unnecessary surgeries on unsuspecting patients.”
The patients told hospital staff that they were there for their “annual clean outs” and were not aware that Dr. Perwaiz would be tying their tubes and performing hysterectomies (and then charging Medicaid).
One woman, who later changed her mind, went to see a fertility specialist after not being able to get pregnant and discovered her tubes had been severed and burned at the ends. That doctor advised her that “both fallopian tubes were burnt down to nubs, making natural conception impossible.” She was a patient of Dr. Perwaiz.
Perwaiz allegedly asked the patient “routinely” whether she planned on having another baby, the affidavit states. The court documents alleged that Perwaiz removed that patient’s fallopian tubes without her consent or knowledge.
One patient was shocked when she awoke to discover that Perwaiz allegedly performed a full hysterectomy.
In another case, Perwaiz allegedly performed an abdominal supracervical hysterectomy on a patient who later told investigators that she “never made complaints” about her medical issues.
Investigators reveal that Perwaiz would routinely ask the women if they wanted more children, and if they said “no” they would receive one form of sterilization or another without their consent.
Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, The fruit of the womb is a reward (Psalm 127:3).
