Republican presidential contender, Ted Cruz, recently attended services at Ronnie Floyd’s Cross Church in Springdale, Arkansas. Floyd is the president of the SBC, perhaps best know for his confetti cannon baptistry created by a Walt Disney designer and for the recent controversy revolving around his partnership with the New Apostolic Reformation‘s Mike Bickle and International House of Prayer. … Read more

SBC President, Ronnie Floyd, is Helping God Save The World!

Synergize 2016, Where The Global Church Gathers to Save the World. That’s the motto of the next conference of apostasy. The event, sponsored by The Assemblies of God, The International Pentecostal Holiness Church, The Miracle Channel, and others (need I say more?), is a yearly gathering of charismatic, new age mystics and emergent church leaders … Read more

Is Ronnie Floyd Trying to Unite the SBC with Mike Bickle’s IHOP?

As recently posted, Southern Baptist president, Ronnie Floyd, will be speaking at an IHOP event in Kansas City in December 2015. While some of you may be picking your jaw up off the floor, or shaking your heads in disbelief, I stated that I simply wasn’t all that surprised about the partnership. After all, the blooming … Read more

Ronnie Floyd and IHOP Now Bringing Catholic Track

Last week I reported on Southern Baptist president, Ronnie Floyd, participating in the Onething Conference put on by the apostate IHOP (International House Of Prayer) Church, founded by New Apostolic Reformation “prophet” Mike Bickle. I even went out on a limb and speculated that he may be attempting to unite the Southern Baptist Convention with … Read more

SBC Prez, Ronnie Floyd, Joining With IHOP Cult To Promote Charismania

Arguably one of the most spiritually dangerous cults in the world today, IHOP (International House of Prayer), headed by the New Apostolic Reformation’s false prophet, Mike Bickle, is hosting its annual Onething Conference December 28-31. IHOP, known for it’s youth-targeted, stage-managed productions of audio-visual, hyper-sensual emotional stimuli that simulates a spiritual revival, will be hosting … Read more

Will Alex Malarkey get shouted down by Floyd at the SBC?

If you haven’t heard of the Lifeway scandal, regarding #the15 by now, I recommend reading this article. The debacle revolves around the Southern Baptist entity, Lifeway Bookstores, who serves as the publishing branch of the convention. Lifeway, as a representative of the SBC has been called out for peddling heretical materials by unsound teachers, as well as Heaven tourism books, for profit, and not responding to criticism for their actions. One particular heretical book Lifeway peddled for years for monetary gain is “The Boy Who Came Back From Heaven.” The book, though officially co-authored by Alex Malarkey and his Father, was actually a work completely by Alex’s father, that Alex himself never supported. Alex recanted his story publicly, his mother publicly wrote about it, and world class apologist, and former Lifeway trustee, Justin Peters, even informed Lifeway about Alex’s recantation years before the book was finally pulled from the shelves after a massive outcry by #the15, and Alex’s recantation made viral through the Pulpit and Pen website.

Alex Himaya, Ronnie Floyd, and Strange Things

Ronnie Floyd recently announced the members he has named to participate in the Committee of Committees, chosen to nominate the committee members who will actually do the nominating of leaders of various positions in the SBC for 2016. Ronnie Floyd and Life Action Ministries – Mystics in Disguise

President of Southern Baptist Convention, Ronnie Floyd, has for some time been known to dabble with questionable theology. He endorses the First Fruits tithing heresy of Robert Morris and also endorses the contemplative mystic, Mark Batterson and his new age book, the Circle Maker. But another troubling partnership between Floyd and New Age mysticism exists—between him … Read more

Disagreeing with God and Ronnie Floyd

“Imagine for a moment that God might manifest His presence in your life in a powerful, unusual – even Supernatural – way. Suppose He were to stand at your side, waiting to infuse your spirit with a fullness beyond your most cherished dreams or imagination. It would be a moment when God seems more real … Read more

Ronnie Floyd Gives Us Until December 31 to Pay Tithes

FBC Jax Watchdog beat us to the punch on this one. But considering that Jax Watchdog is just another angry blogger who should rightly be ignored (totally unlike the Pulpit & Pen), we’ll harp on this, too. When it comes to hateful bloggers typing vitriol with their Cheetos dust-covered fingers from the safety of their … Read more

Floyd’s Cross Church Does the Harlem Shake

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lwkAAzGomL0 At a special weekend apparently and ironically themed “The Glory of God,”, youth at Cross Church do the “Harlem Shake.” The church, then, posted the video on their YouTube channel. In case pop-culture is not your thing, the Harlem Shake is a dance popularized by a musical artist (I use that word loosely) named … Read more
