Intersectionality, a subset of Critical Race Theory, Identity Politics, and Cultural Marxism has all but swallowed whole a significant portion of the Southern Baptist Convention, including the Ethics and Religous Liberty Commission.
On the ERLC’s blog, which routinely serves as an advertising platform for the progressivist friends of Russell Moore whenever they’re trying to shill a product, it now promotes a book steeped in Intersectionality.
Intersectionality, also called intersectional feminism, asserts that all aspects of social and political identities (gender, race, class, sexuality, disability, etc.) discrimination overlap (or “intersect”).
The book is edited by Kristie Brown (Anyabwile), the wife of Ron Brown (Anyabwile), who is a racial agitator, Democrat, leftist, and Black Nationalist.
Authors include a butch member of The Gospel Coalition’s “gaggle of lesbian authors” and Social Justice Warrior (who endorsed Bethel Church of Redding), Jackie Hill Perry, and the ‘woke princess of the ERLC,’ Trilla Newbell.
Objectively, Southern Baptists shouldn’t consider a sound theologian to be in the bunch. But they’re not promoted by the ERLC because they offer compelling ideas or sound doctrine. They’re promoted by the ERLC because they’re women of color. There is no reason besides that.
The book is entitled His Testimonies, My Heritage: Women of Color on the Word of God. Caucasian female authors were prohibited from sharing their views or contributing their work. This is called “racism.”
Stephanie Laferriere, who wrote the post, is listed on staff of The Garden Church in Baltimore, Maryland. Her position at the church (we kid you not) is “life coach.”
Laferriere is also an author at The Gospel Coalition and the progressive political action group, The Witness.
Sacreligiously, Laferriere begins by quoting Charles Spurgeon in order to give her trifling sales pitch a sense of doctrinal astuteness. The quotation with which she began the article had nothing to do with Intersectionality or Multicultural propaganda, but sounding orthodox is how progressives push their dangerous and discriminatory agenda.
