Sadly, Alena Chen (we presume this is her birth name and gender, but are unsure) of Boulder, Colorado, took her own life while on a hike near the Gross Reservoir in the foothills of Boulder County. The Denver Post and other websites are making her out to be a victim of conversion therapy, of which she was a vocal opponent.
People who engage in sodomy and insist on suffering to gender dysphoria are exponentially more likely to perpetuate suicide and murder themselves. This should not come as a surprise, considering those who engage in these unnatural and self-degrading lifestyles are also much more likely to engage in other high-risk activities like drug-use and “unprotected” sex. It’s a very self-destructive lifestyle.
The Bible promises that the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23), and the LGBT lifestyle often leads to self-murder.
For this reason, people who believe they are “transgender” (transgenderism doesn’t actually exist, but is term designated toward those who think they are the wrong gender and sometimes mutilate their body in a tragic display of mental illness) suffer suicide by their own hands.
Although the LGBT lobby claims (without any supporting evidence) that Christians and other reason-based intellectuals are to blame for homosexuals and people with gender dysphoria murdering themselves, the reality is (A) the more LGBT behavior is accepted in society, the higher their suicide rate has become (B) the gender dysphoric are more likely to kill themselves after mutilation surgeries than before and (C) sodomites and the gender dysphoric are more likely to perpetrate violence upon others as well as themselves.
The Bible says that homosexuals have received “in themselves the due penalty for their error” (Romans 1:27), a reference to the self-degrading act of sodomy. Homosexuality makes people loath themselves, because they know in their heart it is a gross and disgusting, humiliating act.
Sadly, Chen rejected the help of her church and those who tried to counsel her and embraced her sin. In the end, so it seems, the sin took her life…which is what sin always does.
If you are a homosexual, please know that you can be completely freed from that self-loathing guilt by the free grace offered by Jesus Christ. If he saves you, he will change your wicked desires and conform you to his son, taking away your unnatural affections and replacing them with his Holy Spirit.
