Paula White Says “It’s Illegal for God to Do Anything on Earth Without Your Partnership

News Division

Paula White recently preached at an event with Rodney Howard Browne, known infamously as the “Holy Ghost Bartender” for making people “drunk in the Spirit.” She claimed in that sermon that God cannot do anything on Earth without the partnership of a human being.

White says, “You have dominion, and while you’ve been waiting for God, he’s been waiting for you this whole time because it’s illegal for God to do anything in the Earth unless he partners with somebody.”

White’s theology holds that because God gave dominion over the Earth (Genesis 1:28) to man, He has no legal right to do anything now without man’s partnership or permission.

You can watch White say these words in the clip below (start listening about the 21-minute mark).

Here, White is fundamentally and explicitly denying the doctrine of God’s omnipotence and sovereignty over the Earth. The Bible, however, gives quite the contrary message regarding God’s rule over all the world.

Our God is in the heavens; he does all that he pleases. – Psalm 115:3

I know that you can do all things and that no purpose of yours can be thwarted. – Job 42:2

Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand. – Proverbs 19:21

The Lord has established his throne in the heavens, and his kingdom rules over all. – Psalm 103:19

All the inhabitants of the earth are accounted as nothing, and he does according to his will among the host of heaven and among the inhabitants of the earth; and none can stay his hand or say to him, “What have you done? – Daniel 4:35

I once got kicked out of a Rodney Howard Browne event, by the way. I’d do it all over again if given half the chance. These people worship a different god than the Cosmic King over the all the universe, who does whatsoever he pleases.
