Seldom has anyone been so self-unaware or self-contradictory. Arguing against guns, pro-choice Democrat and 2020 presidential hopeful, Eric Swalwell, tweeted that the “right to live is supreme over any other.” Swalwell and his supports don’t seem to have had the irony strike them just yet.
Swalwell, the California Congressman, claims that tougher gun control would be “my number one priority as president.”
While roughly 14 thousand Americans die each year due to gun-related homicides, nearly 700 thousand babies are torn limb-from-limb by abortionists and countless more are poisoned with in-womb chemical weaponry. There doesn’t seem to be a question about wherein lies the crisis.
Nonetheless, in stunning irony, Swalwell claims that the right to live is supreme over any other.
On The Issues, a voter’s education service, quotes Swalwell as saying, “I am 100% pro-choice and support the right of women to have full access to contraception and reproductive health services.” Votesmart, another voter’s education service, also reveals that Swalwell has a 100% voting record in defense of abortion. Swalwell also has a 100% rating from Planned Parenthood.
Apparently, only if you want to confiscate firearms do lives really matter.
