A child in Toledo, Ohio, is fighting two rare and deadly diseases. Signs were posted in an area shopping mall about the child’s struggles in an attempt to raise funds and support for the baby and their family.
In response, Darwinists – those who believe in evolution and Darwin’s concept of “survival of the fittest – posted signs around the mall in response that say, “Let the baby die. It’s called Darwinism.”
The sign avoids reference to Christmas and ends with “Happy Holidays.”
KC Ahlers is the child’s father and he told the media, “It shocked me. I mean it really shocked me that somebody would have that kind of cruelty.”
He continued, “I came out. I saw it. Immediately took the one down. There were other ones that were up, but somebody, some other good Samaritans kicked them down.”
The baby has two diseases; the first is a chromosome abnormality that affects the brain and the other affects his heart. He is not likely to survive past the age of two.
The father said, “We want to battle hatred with love. So, we obviously know somebody that did this is disturbed and we hope they get help. But, we’re going to keep taking your signs down as we see them because this town doesn’t need hatred. This town needs love.”
Atheists are some pretty unfriendly people. But if you believe that the world happened by happenstance and humans developed by evolution, there can be no ultimate point to existence, no moral compass, and nothing but ethical nihilism. ›
