Dear Democrats: This is why you don’t elect enemies of the nation to public office. Intersectional Feminist, Anti-Semite of the year, and far-left Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) is in the news again. She is making her entire party look insane. (Which is not hard to do.) This woman is a gift to her enemies: an embodied reductio ad absurdum of radical leftism.
Ilhan Omar was seen Wednesday laughing and giggling for an entire minute on live TV as her colleague in front of her discussed US casualties in Iraq. The same woman decries the “assassination” of leading terrorist Qasem Soleimani and mourns the end of the Iran Nuclear Deal. She rages at economic sanctions against Iran while championing similar sanctions against Israel.
The behavior would have been embarrassing to the father of a middle-school girl. One can only imagine how the remaining loyal American citizens living in Minnesota must feel.
The Daily Wire observes Ilhan Omar’s sudden shift in mood when it came time at the same press conference to discuss the situation in Iran. Ilhan Omar claims to be stricken with PTSD:
“I feel ill a little bit because of everything that is taking place and I think every time I hear of conversations around war I find myself being stricken with PTSD.”
Later Ilhan Omar tweeted:
“This makes no sense. Sanctions are economic warfare. They have already caused medical shortages and countless deaths in Iran. You cannot claim to want deescalation and then announce new sanctions with no clear goal. This is not a measured response!”
Here Ilhan Omar shows her hand. Aside from her hatred of President Donald Trump, Omar is perhaps best known for her support for the anti-Semitic Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement against Israel, which is designed to destroy Israel.
Ilhan Omar is a sad indication of the depth to which American society is falling. Please pray that this rotting picture of immorality will frighten American voters and awaken them from their stupor.
