Thabiti Anyabwile – who endorsed Bernie Sanders in the 2016 Democratic Primary and Hillary Clinton in the general election – has been advocating for cash reparations based on melanin count. Now, a leading contender in his party’s presidential primary is advocating for reparations to homosexuals. Elizabeth Warren, who is now the top contender against Democratic front-runner, Joe Biden, has stated that she wants to give taxpayer money to same-sex couples who had to file their taxes as individuals prior to Obergfell v Hodges.
Warren recently introduced a bill named S.1940, and also known as the Refund Equality Act. This law would make the federal government pay refunds to sodomite couples that they would have received had they been eligible for refunds as married couples.
Warren tweeted out, “The federal government forced legally married same-sex couples in Massachusetts to file as individuals and pay more in taxes for almost a decade. We need to call out that discrimination and to make it right — Congress should pass the Refund Equality Act immediately.”
The total bill for this, according to NBC news, is about $57 million dollars, although the Congressional Budget Office has not yet completed a cost estimate.
Warren isn’t the only Democrat proposing such a measure, however. Representative Judy Chu of California proposed HR 3299, which would have accomplished something very similar.
Evangelical Christians must know that when they feed into Democratic Party talking points, as Thabiti Anyabwile has done, this is where the Social Justice agenda winds up…total insanity.
