Signing a Death Warrant: North Carolina Governor Vetoes Protection Act for Abortion Survivors

Cherie Vandermillen

There will be no reprieve.

What a difference a couple of days make in North Carolina. Monday night the North Carolina Senate passed the The Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act.

Pulpit and Pen reported:

The legislation will provide protection for babies born after a botched abortion. Newborns that survive an abortion will be guaranteed the same right to life saving treatment that any other newborns would receive. Abortionists who fail to abide by the law will be charged with a felony.

On Thursday North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper vetoed the legislation that provided state-wide protection for babies who survived abortion.

In the matter of two days North Carolina went from a state that recognized the right to life-saving healthcare of a child born alive despite the death warrant being signed and carried out by the abortionist to the reality that there will be no reprieve.

By vetoing the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, Governor Roy has instead, once again, guaranteed that the will of the mother and the acts of the abortionist override the personhood rights of the unborn.

So declares the civil magistrate…the right of the mother demanding murder will be carried out by the abortionist, no matter what, it will be carried out.

The cries of the abortion surviving child will go unheard, their screams will be ignored because North Carolina’s Democrat Governor Roy Cooper, with the stroke of a pen, declares that the ‘object’ of pre-mediated murder must die.

Pray for the people of North Carolina for the giver of life, the only true and living God’s long suffering will come to an end.

19 Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it[a] to the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.”
