Why So Many Girly-Men? Blame the Birth Control Pill.

News Division

Where did all the effeminate sissy men come from? Part of the answer is “The Birth Control Pill.” First, a warning.

AN OBLIGATORY WARNING ABOUT THE ABORTIFACIENT NATURE OF “THE PILL”

The pharmaceutical drug called the “Birth Control Pill” shouldn’t be taken by Christian women, or any women who don’t want to inadvertently kill their child. The first reason a woman shouldn’t take the Birth Control Pill is that it doesn’t control conception, as the name suggests, it controls birth. In reality, the Birth Control Pill often allows conception, and works by killing the newly created human life. If you would never consider the infamous RU486 of the Plan B “morning after” pill, you shouldn’t take the Birth Control Pill because it’s essentially the same thing and works the same way.

The Birth Control Pill (or pills, as many are on the market) delivers hormones orally through a daily pill that (ideally) prevents ovulation and thickens the mucus lining to prevent fertilization. However, this does not always work. In this case, the Birth Control Pill works another way, which is by thinning the lining of the uterus, thereby making the womb inhospitable to a life that has already been conceived. While ideally a woman taking the pill isn’t murdering her child, statistics show that although the pill only “fails” to prevent viable pregnancy 3-5% of the time, it fails to prevent fertilization roughly 33% of the time, and the pregnancy must be ended by its final stop-gap measure, which is snuffing out the infant life in the womb. This means that a sexually-active married couple is likely to inadvertently kill a life they’ve conceived one month out of three, when they would have otherwise conceived without the pill. For more information on this from a scientific perspective, click here.

Interestingly (and deceptively), the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) changed the definition of “pregnancy” to implantation, rather than conception. They did this so that the FDA could falsely advertise that the Morning After Pill only “prevents pregnancy.” Of course, those murderous doses of toxins don’t prevent pregnancy – they end pregnancy. Those with no medical ethics just changed the definition of pregnancy. In the exact same way, your personal doctor may look you in the eye and say, “the birth control pill will not end a pregnancy; it prevents it.” If we understand pregnancy as beginning at conception (the Biblical view) then the Birth Control Pill certainly does (albeit, not every month) end – rather than prevent – pregnancy.

THE FEMINIZATION OF MEN

The Birth Control Pill essentially works by providing two chemicals to the woman’s body, treating fertility like a disease that has to be treated with highly toxic drugs. These chemicals are estrogen and a synthetic version of progesterone, called progestin. When ingested in sufficiently high unnatural quantities, they increase the mucus lining, producing a sperm-barrier and also preventing ovulation. The only time, naturally, that ovulation stops in a woman of fertile age is pregnancy. In short, the Birth Control Pill works by making the woman’s body believe she is pregnant, and her body feels pregnant.

As much as the stereotype of oppressive male patriarchy keeping women barefoot and pregnant as a “breeder,” it’s actually modern feminism (which is born out of the invention of Birth Control) that has turned women into hormonal slaves in a perpetual psychological prison of pregnancy. Because of the myth that the Birth Control Pill liberates women, it has actually led to the unnatural slavery of female bodies to 24/7 pregnancy through the prime of their life and most productive years.

The female body, thinking itself perpetually pregnant, has changed the female sexual appetites and ideas of attraction. Although it is not the purpose of this post, this point will be made quickly. Pregnant women – statistically – are not nearly as oriented towards sex (in terms of a “sex drive”) as women who are not pregnant. God made women’s bodies to desire pregnancy, regardless of whether or not the woman herself desires pregnancy. This is why women who are not on the Birth Control Pill are actually having more sex than women who are. (click here for source detail and further information). Not only does the pill change the desire to get pregnant, tricking your body into thinking it already is, but it works by injecting unbelievable amounts of estrogen into the body, which becomes grossly out of proportion with testosterone produced in the ovaries (yes, women have testosterone, too). By throwing estrogen and testosterone out of balance, the female sex-drive is limited because testosterone is responsible for the sex drive itself (which is why men have a deeper sexual appetite than women, who have less testosterone, but still enough to give them sexual desire).

What scientific research overwhelming demonstrates is that pregnant women (and women whose bodies think they’re pregnant) have different sexual desires and different attraction than women whose bodies want to become pregnant. To put it simply, women trying to get pregnant (or whose bodies are) desire manly, masculine, testosterone-laden men. Women who are pregnant (or whose bodies think they are) have less desire for manly men, and gravitate toward feminine, soft men.

A paper published by Trend in Ecology and Evolution – a scientific journal – details how women on the birth control pill change their taste in men and begin to find effeminate men more attractive (source link). A 2008 study at the University of Liverpool – written about in the Scientific American – demonstrates that women who are pregnant (or pre-pubescent, post-menopausal) desire men with similar genes. In short, they want a man (this is not saying they’re homosexual and desire a woman) who is similar to them in appearance (read that: womanly). When women give birth and are again ready to become pregnant without being daily injected with unhealthy hormones, their desires turn towards men whose masculinity stands out in sharp contrast, virile and manly, who subconsciously, they believe will be more likely to impregnate them.

Megachurch pastors like Steven Furtick are increasingly focused upon their style, manscaping fashion, and appearance.

As Matt Walsh writes in his book, The Unholy Trinity (page 93), “This explains, in part, the pop-culture devolution from Frank Sinatra to Justin Bieber, Clint Eastwood to Zac Efron, and so forth. The pill, being a chemical substance that so profoundly messes with a woman’s biology, creates confusion and pulls her toward men she wouldn’t otherwise find attractive. This has been a great boon for effeminate men who wear skinny jeans and drink low-fat lattes…

Further affirming this fact, the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences found that a woman’s physical attraction to her husband may diminish or disappear if she met her husband on the pill, but then got off the pill. A Time Magazine article was written about this topic, and said, “Women who choose a partner when they’re on hormonal contraceptives and then stop taking them will prioritize their husband’s attractiveness more than they would if they were still on it. The effect that it would have on her marital satisfaction would carry more weight.”

Walsh is certainly right. Any survey of American pop-culture would reveal that the taste of American women changed from idolizing the broad-chested Sean Connery’s to the dainty-fingered, mascara-wearing Johnny Depps, from John Wayne to Leo DiCaprio. Many of Western culture’s heart throbs today look as much like women as they do men. The change in this has been commensurate with the invention and wider use of the Birth Control Pill.

WHY HAVE MEN BECOME FEMININE?

The change in women’s tastes can be explained by the Birth Control Pill, but is it just me, or does it seem that there are a lot more effeminate men in the world? Surely toxins ingested by women to manipulate their hormones can’t make men suddenly into limp-wristed, scarf-wearing, light-in-loafer girly men. Can it?

Scientifically, there’s no medical reason why drowning feminine testosterone in an over-abundance of estrogen should make men less manly, just because their tastes have changed. In reality, the correlation is simple; men have responded to what the fairer sex wants. And so, on go the skinny jeans, the eye-liner, and the man-bun. Women who have been pumping their bodies full of artificial hormones are looking for partners who, like them, share feminine qualities. Enter the metrosexual phenomenon.
