Editors Note. Though not strictly news in the sense that this site is accustomed to, we saw recently that Paul Washer was headed out to SC for further surgeries:
and that the surgery went well.
Therefore we wanted to use the opportunity of this non-news story as a flimsy pretext to encourage all the saints to pray for this dear brother daily. We have nothing but love and deep and abiding affection for Paul Washer, his faithfulness and example of Christ, and if we can call attention to get a few more brothers and sisters praying that his body might be healed and strengthened, as well as any other prayers you can think of, then we’ll do so.
“Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praise. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working. ~James 5:13-16
