Leftists Claim “Wuhan Virus” is a Racist Term
With millions of coronavirus infections and tens of thousands of deaths, one would think news agencies would be busy giving practical and helpful advice on the virus like this. But if a major worldwide pandemic isn’t time to signal your virtue, when is?
MSNBC correspondent, David Gura, lectured world health observers and commentators that referring to the COVID-19 as the “Wuhan Virus” is racist. It got 35 thousand ‘likes.’
Criticism among America’s fake-news outlets was directed toward a U.S. Congressman who referred to it as such in a tweet.
Leftists were outraged at his referring to COVID-19 as the Wuhan Virus. It must be racist, right?
No such outrage among leftist can be found regarding the following illnesses and their names, which are all named after the locations where they originated:
- West Nile Virus
- Ebola (Ebola River, Zaire)
- Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever
- Lyme Disease (Lyme, Connecticut)
- German Measles
Sooner or later, there needs be a cap-and-trade policy on leftist faux-outrage and racism accusations. Who knows, maybe such a tax scheme could fund Bernie Sander’s Medicare-for-All plan.
