A pastor was just arrested by the Cuyahoga Regional Human Trafficking Task Force for underaged sex trafficking.
Randolph Brown (64) is the pastor at Inner-City Missionary Baptist Church in Cleveland and he was arrested for two counts of “compelling prostitution” during August of 2018.
The apparent “madam” of the sex-ring was Joyce Richmond (20) was also arrested (below).
Richmond was also indicted on two counts of trafficking and compelling prostitution.
Dave Yost, the Ohio Attorney General, says the charges stem from an investigation into the exploitation of three underage runaway teenage girls.
Instead of helping the girls, Richmond and Brown got them involved in sex work. Sadly, Brown was also the chaplain for the Hudson Youth Development Center for nearly three decades.
HSI Special Agent Vance Callandar said, “The allegations in this case are particularly troubling given Mr. Brown’s role as a spiritual leader in the community. This investigation should however make clear that traffickers will be held accountable, regardless of the positions they occupy.”
But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea (Matthew 18:6).
