Former “Mythbusters” co-host, Adam Savage, took to Twitter to express his outrage with Republican Senators, calling them “Calvinist s#!%bags.”
His Tweet reads:
“GOP” members of the Senate, you unconscionable, pathetic, spineless, hypocritical, lickspittle, death rattle of a racist patriarchal Calvinist shitbags. May all your teeth fall out but one. And in that one may you have a toothache. Enjoy how history looks at you. It’s not pretty.”
What GOP senator is Savage speaking about? What Republican senator is a Calvinist? Is Savage an intolerant bigot? What does Calvinism have to do with Republicans?
It seems the clearly Democrat former celeb is conflating conservative politics with Conservative Christian doctrine. Although the two idealogies can travel together, it isn’t always so. Whatever the case, Mr. Savage’s argument is with Almighty God.
Psalm 2:1-3 explains,
“Why are the nations in an uproar? And the peoples devising a vain thing? The kings of the earth take their stand and the rulers take counsel together against the Lord and against His Anointed, saying, ‘Let us tear their fetters apart and cast away their cords from us!'”
Clearly those who will continue to suppress the truth in unrighteousness will continue to rage against God the Father and His Christ.
