Apparently Pope Francis doesn’t like people to touch him. The pontiff apologized today after a video surfaced of him slapping a woman who grabbed his hand in a New Year’s celebration crowd.
“We lose patience many times,” Francis said in apology.
He continued, “It happens to me too. I apologize for the bad example given yesterday.”
