Liberals are having a field day with new revelations that Vice President Mike Pence steered U.S. foreign aid money to Christian groups. Everyone with a brain is praising rather than lamenting that fact.
TruthDig, ProPublica, and the Friendly Atheist are all lamenting in sackcloth and ashes that new reports reveal that Mike Pence has helped to fund Christians groups in priority over Islamic or irreligious ones in the Middle East.
ProPublica writes, “Last November, a top Trump appointee at the U.S. Agency for International Development wrote a candid email to colleagues about pressure from the White House to reroute Middle East aid to religious minorities, particularly Christian groups.”
[insert laments from the left]
Some are even claiming that Pence’s directives to prioritize Christian groups as recipients of foreign aid is unconstitutional (and by implicit notion, impeachable).
Conservatives are chuckling over this revelation as they’re preparing their chad-punching skills to vote ‘Trump” in 2020.
Liberals need to be reminded of something. U.S. foreign aid was used to support and create the Taliban. U.S. foreign aid was used to support and create ISIS. U.S. foreign aid was used to support and create Al Qaeda.
And liberals are now complaining that U.S. foreign aid is going to the one demographic in the Middle East that we can be assured isn’t going to wage terror on the United States people.
Pound sound, liberals. It’s a good day to have Donald Trump as president.
