‘The View’ Women Say Evangelicals Aren’t Against Sex-Trafficking, Pedophilia

News Division

This may come as a shock to you, but evangelicals don’t care about sex-trafficking or pedophilia. At least, that’s according to Whoopie Goldberg and Joy Behar.

In light of news that Bill Clinton’s longtime friend and intimate travel partner, Jeffrey Epstein, had been arrested for sex trafficking, Whoopie Goldberg made the claim on The View that evangelicals don’t care about the subject.

Goldberg said, “Do you know who I’m waiting to hear from? All those folks that are out there to talk about that they want to take care of young people and make sure young people are good. I just, you know, why isn’t the evangelical community coming forward? Where is everybody?”

The evangelical community are outside drag queen story times, trying to protect kids from sexual predators, but Goldberg said she hadn’t seen it.

Goldberg continued, “That was worrying me because I thought, well, one of the ways that you show that you care about people is you come out and you condemn this kind of stuff, but, you know, and all the folks that I’m used to hearing talk about, you know, this one is bad or this is bad or this, haven’t said much, and I was just wondering where they were.”

Again…we’re outside drag queen story time, trying to prevent stuff like this.

Hollywood, on the other hand, seems to promote sex-trafficking and pedophilia.

Meghan McCain, daughter of the late Senator John McCain, responded, “I don’t think evangelicals are okay with pedophilia.”

Goldberg asked, “Have they said anything? I haven’t heard from Jerry Fallwell Jr.”

Goldberg and Behar then went on to say that the supposed silence of Jerry Falwell Jr., Pat Robertson and Franklin Graham on the issue of sex-trafficking or pedophilia might be an indication they’re not against such things.

Of course, Liberty University – run by Falwell – has spoken out against human trafficking, such as this 2017 Anti-Human Trafficking advocacy event, or its annual Liberty Abolishing Slavery events, which partners with Shared Hope International, Polaris ProjectRestoration MinistriesCourtney’s HouseTruckers Against Trafficking, and more.

Samaritan’s Purse, run by Franklin Graham, works against sex trafficking around the globe. They operate education and prevention programs in vulnerable communities, primarily in Africa and Asia. Millions of dollars have been spent on anti-trafficking efforts by these two organizations.

We are not aware of what charities are run by Behar or Goldberg that combat sex-trafficking or pedophilia.
