You can’t make this up. An 85-year-old former college campus pastor has become an adult film star after having come out of the closet as a homosexual.
Norm Self was a campus pastor in the state of Alabama, before deciding that he was a homosexual in 1997. The UK Mirror did an expose’ on Self as part of its reporting on a Channel 5 documentary entitled, OAPS On The Game: The Sex Business.
The pastor now serves in adult films designed to focus on the elderly, called “blue films” (a reference to the Viagra pill, which is blue in color).
Self tells the Mirror, “My housemate asked me if I’d be in a film. I was invited in and all of a sudden all this attention comes to me.
“It’s almost like having a party,” he continued, “that’s one of the things I admire about this way of doing [adult films].”
Self, who now resides in North Carolina, said, “We are going to have sex anyway so why not make it a liberating and bonding experience instead of hiding it away in the shadows? If the universe grants me another 10 years, who knows what will be happening with sex?”
The clergyman added, “My 85-year-old self is more vibrant than my 45-year-old self. It’s as though my erotic energy has taken over and inhabited me.”
Self told the HuffPo back in 2017 that he was a “sacred intimate” (a term he made up) which means he helps both men and women discover the spiritual and erotic side to themselves. In other words, he’s a pervert who uses religion to make his sexual immorality seem sacred.
Self also told HuffPo, “I find these days that my body is indeed a temple where intimacy and ecstasy intermingle; and whenever I am engaged with its erotic energies, I am transported into domains that give assurance of the goodness of all of life, and why I am here, embodied, to spread the good word that it’s available to all beings!”
