How are Drag Kids Being Promoted?
One way is the use of documentary films to show-case the lives of Drag Kids as an “incredible” way for children to express themselves.
The Canadian Press recently reported that the documentary “Drag Kids” had made its “debut at the Canadian International Documentary Film Festival” and you can be assured it’ll make its way to film screens across America.
In their reporting it was stated:
Welcome to the world of drag kids, a burgeoning scene of wig-loving, sequin-covered, pint-sized showboats with all the gender-pushing attitude and sass of their adult counterparts.

The film’s director, Megan Wennberg, says drag culture has become increasingly mainstream thanks to the reality series “RuPaul’s Drag Race” and YouTube videos that are exposing the culture well beyond adult-only bars and balls.
She says it’s drawing kids who love to dress up and lip sync, and enjoy “being fabulous.” But it also taps into a deeper drive for some to define themselves in unconventional ways, even if it might be controversial.
Read that again, “RuPaul’s Drag Race and Youtube videos that are exposing the culture well beyond adult-bars and balls [galas].”
The exploitation, perversion, and sexualization of these children began in “adult-bars.”
And what better evidence to show this adult-induced and their willful intent to change the lives of children than the trailer for the film “Drag Kids.”
