Dear Taisha,
You need to seriously reconsider the direction of your life. I’m told you have a rough past but I don’t know you so I’m not going to speak to that. I will, however, speak to your future. I think it’s going to be an even rougher one. Your environment, from your work-life to your church-life to your home-life, is toxic. You have let a man into your life, into your kids’ life, who has completely wrecked the lives of his family. When I spoke to that man on the phone this Thursday, his words indicated that he was concerned about the welfare of his family. However, his actions indicate otherwise. I have spoken with his ex-wife, I have spoken with his mother, I have spoken with his church members, and I have spoken with him. It is my conclusion that Greg Locke is a manipulative man, consumed with ego and pride and full of anger and aggression. I believe that if Greg Locke died today he would spend an eternity in Hell. This is the man who baptized you, Tai. This is a man who started as your pastor, became your employer, and is now your lover.
Tai, I believe that if you died today, you would spend an eternity in Hell. I believe this because I believe what the Apostle Paul wrote to the Corinthians is true:
Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God. Such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God. (1 Corinthians 6)
Tai, you are a fornicator. Tai, you are an adulterer. Tai, you are a thieving and covetous woman (you stole and coveted Melissa Locke’s husband). You are a wicked woman living in sin with a wicked man. Paul told the Corinthians that they used to be such things but were washed. Tai, you are such things and I don’t think you have been washed. You are still in your sin. That may seem like a harsh thing to say but I assure you it is the most loving thing anyone has said to you in months. Greg Locke, the man who baptized you, may tell you that you are saved and that he loves you. Let me tell you, you aren’t saved and Greg Locke doesn’t love you. He loves himself. He sure doesn’t love his covenant wife Melissa and he certainly doesn’t love God. He is leading you, your kids, your sister, and your mother on a path straight to Hell. Oh, Tai, how long will you follow this path? All the way to the Lake of Fire?
When you were a little girl and you envisioned your wedding, did you imagine marrying a divorced man, fresh off of a DFCS investigation, in the church he pastored? Did you imagine that your groom would be a man stolen from a close friend? Did you imagine that the groom would be the preacher who performed your previous wedding ceremony? Tai, what are you doing? You’ve seen what a terrible husband Greg Locke has been to his wife, what a terrible father he has been to his kids, and what a terrible pastor he has been to his church? What makes you think he is going to treat you and your kids any different?
I have a video (I am not going to post it) of Greg telling his wife, “you don’t want these kids.” That’s vicious. I’ve published the text messages he sent her. When I saw that video and read those text messages, I couldn’t help but think, ‘I wonder how long until Tai is on the other end of something like that.’
A former member of Global Vision Bible Church told me this yesterday:
His grandfather died in prison, his dad did ten years, and Greg is about ready to explode.
Tai, I’m under no illusion that Greg is a man changed by the power of God. He didn’t use to be a troubled man, he is one. I’ve experienced his vitriol first hand. Surely you will if you already haven’t.
Greg presents himself in the media and on the internet as “Pastor” Greg Locke. In my opinion, he’s just a businessman who has opened a storefront church. He’s been pretty clever to be able to find a way to have money flow from the internet to Global Vision Bible Church. He’s marketed himself quite well but how long can he go on fooling people. I’m told that the attendance at Global Vision has dwindled from 600 to 200. Let’s face it, he’s giving away a TV as a gimmick to get more people in the door. He’s able to fool less and less people in Mt. Juliet. Soon enough, the people on the internet will be harder to fool, too. People are starting to see him for who he is. Who do you think they think you are, Tai? Who does God think you are; there is no fooling Him. Jesus said:
Everyone who divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery, and he who marries one who is divorced from a husband commits adultery. (Luke 16)
God knows who you are. Jarrod Almond can stand up on a stage and pronounce you and Greg man and wife, but God knows who you are. You can put out your own preaching videos on Facebook, but God knows who you are. You can travel to revivals as the evangelist’s wife but God knows who you are. God knows He can forgive you, too. Just repent and ask.
I want to remind you Tai of the biblical qualifications for a pastor:
It is a trustworthy statement: if any man aspires to the office of overseer, it is a fine work he desires to do. An overseer, then, must be above reproach, the husband of one wife, temperate, prudent, respectable, hospitable, able to teach, not addicted to wine or pugnacious, but gentle, peaceable, free from the love of money. He must be one who manages his own household well, keeping his children under control with all dignity (but if a man does not know how to manage his own household, how will he take care of the church of God?), and not a new convert, so that he will not become conceited and fall into the condemnation incurred by the devil. And he must have a good reputation with those outside the church, so that he will not fall into reproach and the snare of the devil. (1 Timothy 3)
Greg fails and has failed at nearly every qualification on this list. If you were a true Christian, you wouldn’t let Greg Locke be your pastor, your employer, or your husband.
What’s it going to be Tai? You’re in a tough spot. I’m here to tell you, I don’t see but one way out of it for you, cast yourself upon the mercy of God. Run a way from Global Vision Bible Church and Greg Locke and run to Jesus.
Sincerely,
Seth Dunn
