An evil and adulterous generation seeks for a sign, but no sign will be given to it except the sign of Jonah.” – Matthew 16:4
Bethel Church, a charismatic New Apostolic Reformation church in Redding, CA, is well-known for its music. It’s theologically watered-down lyrics and emotion-stirring melodies ring through churches of all types on Sunday mornings. But many people don’t know about Bethel’s dark side.
Bethel church is a Christ-perverting (see here) manifestation of pure evil with a deceitful facade of Christianity–and no wonder, for even Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14). Recently, Kris Vallotton, the man who claims he holds the office of Apostle, told the world that he believes in the Pope’s call to unify Protestants with Rome.
Bethel Church regularly manifests false signs and wonders during its worship services. Speaking in tongues, fire tunnels, glory clouds–yep, there’s an app for that. But the real kicker is, in the video below, you see Danny Silk mocking anyone who would question these ridiculous gimmicks. Apparently, after a service where some ‘glory clouds’ were supposedly manifested, he defends them by discouraging people from being sober-minded (2 Tim 4:5). He then goes on to further mock people who would strive to understand what Scripture means, mockingly saying, “I know exactly how that happened…I know exactly what that verse means.” Interestingly enough, he calls this brainlessness “discernment.” “But it’s discernment and the practice of that wisdom in discernment that prepares me for that moment [of accepting and believing this hogwash],” he says, while the audience giggles with glee.
At one point during the video, Bill Johnson comes on and says “we don’t seek signs and wonders…” Of course, they don’t seek them, they manufacture them.
The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and false signs and wonders, and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. – 2 Thessalonians 2:9-10
It is absolutely astonishing the amount of brainwashing these evil institutions can do to people. Watch the video below.
I charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his kingdom: preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching. For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths. – 2 Tim 4:1-4
