False teachers are nocuous. The false doctrines and gospel they fabricate and promulgate aims to bind Christians as slaves to the works of the flesh instead of “slaves of Christ” and faith in his righteousness alone.
The ambition of the false teacher is for the Christian to conform to their false standards rather than the true standards of God revealed in his Word. For this, false teachers are under the curse of God.
