A notable charismatic prophet who made a name for himself predicting ‘Four Blood Moons’ and is now predicting that 5G phone technology will usher in the coming anti-Christ.
It’s impossible to throw out the baby with the charismatic bathwater because there is no baby in the bathwater. It’s a pile of sludge and sewer waste that should be promptly flushed. Few publications better demonstrate this than Charisma News, which regularly publishes the demonstrably false prophecies of the leading pseudo-prophets, with never an update when the prophecy failed to come to pass.
This is the case with Mark Blitz who first looked at the astronomical calendar and predicted that the four “blood moons” of 2015 would lead to dramatic changes in the nation of Israel. John Hagee took his concepts and wrote his own book, Four Blood Moons, and popularized the notion with his much larger audience. Although nothing came of the four lunar eclipses visible from America in 2015, Blitz still has his own program on the PTL television network
As reported in Charisma News, Blitz recently said, “As technology becomes more and more a part of our everyday lives, we must consider theories about the Antichrist and emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, Siri, Alexa, Watson, 5G and more, which are creeping into our lives on a daily basis and changing our perspective of how things could possibly play out even in the next few years.”
He continued:
And as the technology race continues, it is no longer difficult to imagine the Antichrist as some kind of hybrid human cyborg able to project himself all over the world at one time as a hologram that demands to be worshipped. With all the advances in technology—the ability to produce avatars, holograms and computer software installed in our bodies so our thoughts and emotions, as well as our purchases and our movements, can be monitored—there is no doubt that we are at the culmination of one age and entering the threshold of another.
So…the anti-Christ might be a hybrid human cyborg. Okay.
It is unclear what exactly about 5G networks will usher in the anti-Christ, according to Blitz. It just…does.
There are some conspiracy theorists who believe that 5G networks will “cook users alive” due to what people presume will be more intense electromagnetic “beams.” Technology experts explain “that’s not really how it works.”
