Pope Francis has written a new book, published by Penguin Random House, in which he denies a number of God’s central attributes, including those already affirmed by Roman Catholic doctrine. Francis has been charged with heresy by Romanist theologians and has most recently contradicted the church’s teachings on the death penalty. In this new book, Francis boldly challenges numerous attributes of God that are understood to be benchmarks of Christianity by virtually any standard of orthodoxy.
His book is entitled, “God is Young.” Its subtitle is “A Conversation with Thomas Leoncini” and was translated by Anne Milano Appel.
