I have noticed that the preacher Todd White is becoming ever more popular in charismatic circles. Recently, I learned that he is scheduled to appear along with two high-profile prosperity preachers, Benny Hinn and Kenneth Copeland, at the 2017 Jesus Conference in Orlando. He has even been featured on the Trinity Broadcasting Network. According to his profile at Gateway Church (a Texas megachurch) and his bio at Lifestyle Christianity (his own ministry organization) Todd White:
” was a drug addict and atheist for 22 years when in 2004 He was radically set free! Redemption and righteousness are the foundation and the keys to the new creation reality that we are to live in and from. God has simply opened Todd’s eyes to this truth and that Holy Spirit wants to flow through every believer everywhere we go, at work, school, grocery stores, malls, gas stations, everywhere. His true joy is being able to reproduce in people the simplicity of this reality, in a 24/7 kingdom lifestyle! This is for every believer!”
White’s surging popularity seems to stem from his claims of being able to perform miraculous healing. There are several videos in YouTube in which White is portrayed as healing people “in Jesus’ name”. White even claims to have lengthened people’s legs. He even has claimed to perform healings for the entire wait staff of a Royal Caribbean cruise ship, relieving them of asthma and blood diseases.
I believe the Lord Jesus Christ can heal people. I don’t believe that Todd White is healing he people. I believe that Todd White is a charlatan at best and demon-possessed at worst. According to one first-hand report submitted to me, Todd White fled the rebuke of a Christian woman who goes to the gym with him and threatened to call the police on her if she ever approached him again. This seemed like a strange, fearful action for someone who purports to be a great worker of divine miracles. Furthermore, it seems to me that such a great worker of miracles would be roaming the halls of children’s hospitals and the barren country of the third world if God had truly gifted him with the ability to perform great signs of God’s healing power. However, instead of going to the world’s most poor and desperate, White is going to conferences with millionaire friends such as Kenneth Copeland and Benny Hinn. White himself dwells in a $1.5M mansion. Clearly, there is a good money in the “healing” business.
If Todd White truly is a worker of miracles, there should be substantial evidence to support this. After all, there are real people in all of his healing videos. I’d like to hear from them. In the information age, there is no reason to wonder whether or not itinerant faith healers are truly workers of miracles. There ought to be verifiable testimonies to substantiate their claims. White is so popular and his videos are so widespread, there must surely be some evidence out there. Please consider sharing this article on your social media pages.
I’m waiting.
