As Evangelical Intelligentsia leftist subversives like Andrew Walker, Karen Swallow Prior, and David French are vigorously trying to convince Christian voters not to vote Republican in 2020, Democrats are vetoing legislation requiring the medical treatment of newborn infants who have survived in-the-womb assassination attempts.
Proposing two acts of legislation designed to protect infants, Senate Majority Leader, Mitch McConnell, said, “Today, every senator will be able to take a clear moral stand.”
He continued, “We’ll have the chance to proceed to common sense legislation that would move our nation closer to the international mainstream with respect to defending innocent human life.”
Democrats opposed the two measures. The first would require medical treatment for babies who survived an abortion, which was sponsored by Nebraska Governor, Ben Sasse. It failed 56-41, with all but three Democrats voting against it.
The other bill was the “Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act,” sponsored by Senator Lindsay Graham. All Democrats but two voted against it, but also voting against it were two Republicans, Sens. Susan Collins of Maine and Lisa Murkowski of Alaska.
While the Evangelical Industrial Complex continues to tell us there’s more than one “pro-life” way to vote, Democratic voting records prove otherwise.
