In Ephesians 2:21, the Apostle Paul says that Jesus Christ is the cornerstone of the church. But according to a video sanctioned by U.S. Cardinal Timothy Dolan, that spot is reserved for homosexuals.
A 43-minute video was produced at Fordham University, associated with the Jesuit Order, which provided commentary on LGBTQ tolerance by leading Catholic figures like Dolan (Cardinal and Archbishop of New York), John Cecero (the Jesuit Provincial of the USA), and Friar James Martin (a prominent pro-LGBTQ priest in the Roman Catholic Church), included the remarks.
The video and event, which were officially sanctioned by the highest figure present, Timothy Dolan, included the following remarks by Ish Ruiz, a professor at Sacred Heart Cathedral in San Francisco:
“LGBT Catholics in many ways are like Jesus, and that’s why they are a gift to our Church. The stone that has been rejected has become the cornerstone. I think of LGBT Catholics as that, as the cornerstone to our Church.”
Additionally, as reported by LifeSite News, “Sister” Luisa Derouen – a Dominican nun – said at the event that “transgender” Catholics are on a “sacred journey.”
You can watch the video below:
The remarks about homosexuals being the “cornerstone” mirror those made at First Baptist Church in Orlando under Pastor David Uth, who was to lead the 2020 SBC Pastor’s Conference before it was canceled due to coronavirus.
At that Southern Baptist church, in honor of the Pulse Nightclub shooting victims, the preacher said, “…that LGBTQ area is the head cornerstone, and we are here to lift up and magnify, and allow them to know, that regardless of people’s opinion, regardless of where we are, love triumphs over evil.”
But, no. Homosexuals are not the chief cornerstone of the church; Jesus is.
