If your religion requires you to kill infants, you probably serve Molech. Nonetheless, a prominent Democrat in the United States Senate is now claiming that laws preventing infanticide somehow restrict Democrat’s religious freedom.
Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D – New York) was commenting on the pro-life bills struck down by Senate Democrats this week (one would have protected infants already born after a botched abortion).
Her comments have raised a few eyebrows from people wondering if Democrats consider abortion some kind of religious sacrament.
Gillibrand said, “This is part of President Trump and Mitch McConnell’s all-out assault on women. They’re trying to harm women. They’re trying to take away their civil rights, their human rights, their ability to make the most important, intimate decisions of their lives.”
Then she added…
They’re taking away their religious freedom. They’re taking away their moral freedom.”
One wonders if for Democrats abortion is a religious rite. If so, it explains a lot about their spiritual convictions. Abortion seems to serve as the Democrat version of Communion, except instead of the blood of Christ they wash their feet in the blood of babies.
