Sounding like a mission statement from the ERLC, Embody Emerge is an organization “designed to heal the impacts of gender and sexuality-based oppression to uplift a more authentic, impassioned, and socially just society.”

Embody Emerge offers “identity affirming gender/sexuality counseling and sex coaching to the LGBTQ2SIA+ community to aid in the reclamation of power, pleasure, and wellbeing” and also “professional coaching, training, and consulting to health professionals and sex educators who want to serve the LGBTQ2SIA+ community in an uplifting, informed, and competent manner.”

In short, Embody Emerge does sensitivity training for therapists and professionals who have to deal with sexually-sick people.

Their new course is entitled “Queer Competency Training” and is a 90-day program designed to teach professionals how to avoid committing micro-aggressions against the LGBTQ lobby.

The program will help businesses and professionals be sensitive to the “unique needs” of queers and transgenders.

We are unaware if any businesses or therapist organizations have a Christian Competency Training to let them know how to best serve people of faith. For some reason, we doubt it.
