Gun Control Advocate Shoots Wife Dead to Prove Why We Need Gun Control

First, Kevin Heimsoth of Bellingham, Washington, shot his wife (above) and two pets. Then, Hemsoth tweeted President Trump and the NRA to ‘thank them’ for his gun rights, claiming he could not have murdered her without a gun. Heimsoth is an anti-gun advocate and thought that by shooting his wife he could make the case for gun control.

After blaming Republican lawmakers and the NRA for the death of his wife, Heimsoth then shot himself. He is currently being held in custody by the Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office at the local hospital and is in critical condition.

Although some press outlets initially reported that Heimsoth was a fan of Trump and the NRA, his timeline is full of anti-Trump tweets.

Many of Heimsoth’s social media posts are against guns and in favor of gun control in light of mass shootings.

Heimsoth intended to kill his wife, blame the president and the NRA, and drive public attention to the need for gun control. Instead, he just demonstrated the need for firearms. Insane and evil people like Heimsouth are running amok in the world, and they intend to do evil.

But first, they intend to disarm us.
