In Christmas Address, Trump Says People Should Act More Like Jesus

In his Christmas message on Wednesday, President Donald J. Trump encouraged the nation to start acting more like Jesus.

Writing the remarks in a release from the White House, Trump encouraged Americans to better exemplify the teachings of Christ.

“While the challenges that face our country are great, the bonds that unite us as Americans are much stronger. Together, we must strive to foster a culture of deeper understanding and respect — traits that exemplify the teachings of Christ.”

While Americans are benefiting from Mr. Trump’s policies, which no doubt exemplify a Biblical worldview far better than the Democrat platform that calls for murdering babies, setting murderers free, going easy on crime, and stealing property and income to redistribute it to people it doesn’t belong to, many are pointing out that the president’s personal behavior falls far short of Christ’s.

We should all pray that Americans warmly receive Trump’s remarks about more exemplifying Christ and that he himself might better demonstrate a character more and more conformed to Jesus in order to lead by example.
