Canadian TV Deletes Trump Cameo from Home Alone 2 Christmas Broadcast

In what might be the pettiest anti-Trump stunt over the Christmas holiday, the taxpayer-funded Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) delete a cameo from Donald J. Trump when the aired a rerun of the sequel of Christmas classic, Home Alone.

In the 1992 movie, Kevin McCalister (played by Macauley Culkin) is lost in the Trump Hotel in New York. Donald J. Trump plays himself in the film, briefly pointing directions to McCalister.

In the airing yesterday, Trump was taken out of the film without explanation.

The scene was only 24 seconds long, but CBC claimed that they edited the film to run in the timeslot allowed. The scene is widely regarded as among the most memorable and nostalgic in the entire film, and why a more notable moment would be cut out and not another is inexplicable.
