Seattle tax-payers spend a whopping 10.1% in sales tax and a property tax rate in King County of almost $9 for every thousand in estimated value (for the median housing tax rate of $4,245 per year). Why is the tax rate so screaming high? Probably because it’s paying for drag queens to strip for a conference on solving Seattle’s homeless population.
We kid you not.
“Beyonce Black St James” is the fake name of male drag queen, who pretends to be a woman. He was paid by King County to do a dance known as ‘twerking’ (do not Google that), bare his sagging chest, and kiss attendees. The conferences hosted non-profit and government agencies that exist to solve Seattle’s homeless problem.
The theme of the conference was “decolonizing our collective work,” and it was designed, as it is each year, to help the groups work together to solve Seattle’s homelessness.
As of January of 2018, there were approximately 6,500 homeless in Seattle with nearly 3,500 in shelters. Seattle ranks third for homelessness populations, behind only Los Angeles and New York. This could be becasue they’re trying to solve homelessness by drag queens twerking (just an idea).
We can’t link the above tweet with the video because of our Christian editorial standards, but the video shows the tranny collecting dollar bills from the attendings while shaking himself in their face.
The organizer of the event has since been put on paid leave until they clear up exactly how hiring a drag queen to dance helps homelessness.
