A bill was being carried through the Pennsylvania House committee that would allow babies either murdered by abortion or miscarried by the natural process to be buried or cremated if their parents so chose. Wendy Ullman, a state representative, opposed the bill, noting that dead babies are “just some mess on a napkin.”
The bill was HB 1890 and was passed 15-10, with all Democrats on the committee voting against the bill, apparently wanting to give denial of the right to burial to babies.
Ullman said on October 29…
“It refers specifically to the product of conception after fertilization which covers an awful lot of territory. I think we all understand the concept of the loss of a fetus, but we’re also talking about a woman who comes into a facility and is having cramps and — not to be, not to be, concrete — an early miscarriage is just some mess on a napkin.”
Countless women who have had miscarriages would disagree that their tiny baby is a “mess.” People with a vested interest in murdering babies, such as Democrats and other advocates for the abortion industry, would certainly like to think of them that way, however. It probably helps them sleep better at night.
The primary reason Democrats oppose this bill is that burial or cremation would not allow the “messes” to have their organs harvested and sold to profit abortionists.
