The Huffington Post is Horrified When a Lioness Kills Her Own Babies But Cheers When Humans Do It

(NewsBusters) Apparently, the pro-abortion left holds animals up to a higher moral standard than human beings. On August 8th, The Huffington Post reported that two lion cubs were eaten by their mother two days after their birth in a German zoo. Reporter David Moye called the deaths “tragic.” This is ironic coming from HuffPo, which supports abortion even after the baby is born.

According to Moye’s report, the Leipzig Zoo announced the deaths of the newborn cubs on its Facebook page on Tuesday. Translated from German, the post revealed that the lioness was taking good care of the cubs before she suddenly ate them. Moey wrote, “adding to the tragedy: The lion cubs were the first ones born at the zoo in 15 years.”

Mothers eating their young is not unheard of in the wild. Still, for HuffPo, the practice is heartbreaking unless the mother and child are human beings.

Let's STOP the Modern Day Downgrade

“Daily, the work at Pulpit & Pen is filling the void of places where 100 men once stood and that is not an exaggeration. Day in and day out, they tirelessly vet offerings and influence of ministries around the world that they may guard the little sheep from the least to the most damning of errors. This is hard, unappreciative and alienating toil... JD Hall and his contributors such as Seth Dunn, are almost single-handedly leading the way in a rescue attempt of conservative Evangelicalism and especially the Southern Baptist Convention.” -Alex A. Guggenheim

Today we ask you to defend Pulpit & Pen’s independence.

We’re a non-profit that depends on donations to stay online and thriving.
