In this episode of Polemics Report (September 20, 2018), JD critiques a tweet from Tim Keller that says that Cross was about relinquishing power. JD explains that Jesus gave up no power on the cross, as his omnipotence is a divine attribute, and explains the heresy of Kenosis. He then goes on to explain the problem with redefining words like “Social Justice” and explains the difference between justice and mercy, gives an update on SBTS, and briefly covers a section of John Owen’s book on church membership.
