In an exclusive report by National Geographic, archaeologists claim to have uncovered the largest ritualistic child sacrifice in the history of the world on the northern coast of Peru. The report states:
More than 140 children and 200 young llamas appear to have been ritually sacrificed in an event that took place some 550 years ago on a wind-swept bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean, in the shadow of what was then the sprawling capital of the Chimú Empire.
While it may be easy to write off incidents like these as ancient phenomena that we no longer deal with in this modern world, let’s not forget the millions of innocent children who are being and have been sacrificed on the altar of convenience through our abortion industry in this modern time. By the world’s standards, this is clearly an abominable practice–after all, children were sacrificed to appease a false god, an idol. But from God’s perspective, the millions of children our culture sacrifices today is far more grievous. There is no excuse. Today, children are sacrificed to appease the gods of filthy lucre, convenience, and way of life.
God is not pleased.
