Why Every Born Again Bible Believing Christian Should Herald the Truth of Christmas
The monumental importance of Christmas is the fulfillment of the incarnation of Christ, the Second person of the Trinity. If there is no virgin birth, then there is no Messiah. If there is no Hypostatic Union then there is no fulfillment of Isaiah 53. The single most important date in history is the birth of Immanuel, The incarnation God with Us! Jesus Changed the world at the moment of conception, and the world starting with Herod wanted to destroy that life, for the exact imprint of The Godhead rest in The Christ. Men still want to destroy that image today. Jesus altered time and we had to restart the calendar because “These Christians have taken over the World.” The single most attested fact in history is the birth of Jesus Christ. It is why today is January 5th, 2014 A.D.
Jesus came to set captives free and people want to bind free men with legalism. Jesus came to cause the blind to see, and some people try to stop anyone from seeing His incarnation.Jesus came to proclaim liberty and freedom and people want to put on the bondage of legalism and mans opinions on to the backs of Gods sheep.
So what is the Promise of Christmas?
It is to Proclaim the Majesty of the virgin born miracle, for unto us is born this day in the city of David, a Savior who is Christ the Lord. It is to tell the world that even though you might deny God, He came in the flesh and tabernacled with men. Jeremiah 33:14–15
Augustine said, “He, through whom time was made, was made in time and He, older by eternity that the world itself, was younger in age than many of His servants in the world. He, who made man, was made man, He was given existence by a mother whom He brought into existence.”
